MWL Congratulates Syria on Removal from State Sponsors of Terrorism List

Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the United States' approval of the decision to remove the Syrian Arab Republic from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list. MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa congratulated the Syrian Arab Republic, its government and people, on this historic announcement, in support of its right to move toward a promising future. Al-Issa reaffirmed the MWL's full support for all measures taken by the Syrian government that serve the Syrian people's aspirations for security and prosperity.
