Riyadh: The Music Commission launched the Riyadh Music Week on Wednesday. The event includes a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the music scene in the Kingdom and positioning Riyadh as a global hub for music.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the launching ceremony featured a captivating musical performance that blended Saudi musical arts with various international styles, creating an appealing atmosphere that celebrated the richness of cultural diversity.

The Music Week aims to enhance the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s status as a global cultural hub, empower musical talent, and foster cross-sector collaboration to advance the music industry.

It includes panel discussions, workshops, training courses, and concerts featuring both Saudi and international artists.

The Music Commission is committed to fostering the music industry in the Kingdom through five key pillars: enhancing music education, encouraging music production, promoting live performances, providing comprehensive support, and establishing a
n efficient licensing system.
