Makkah: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: 725,775 volunteer hours were recorded within the municipal volunteer system during the 1447 AH Hajj season, reflecting the broad scope of community participation and support for the field and service efforts provided to pilgrims in Makkah and the holy sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry noted that the total number of volunteer opportunities offered during the season reached 625, while the number of participating male and female volunteers reached 17,220. It also noted a 100% satisfaction rate regarding the services and programs provided within the municipal volunteer system.

The ministry said the number of visitors to the municipal volunteer camp exceeded 10,847, as part of efforts to promote the culture of volunteer work, empower volunteers, and enhance the readiness of teams participating in serving pilgrims during the season.
