Riyadh: The National Cybersecurity Academy announced that over 9,600 individuals benefited from its training programs during the first half of 2025, as part of the second phase of the “Cyberk” program aimed at developing the Kingdom’s cybersecurity sector. The initiative seeks to build specialized national capabilities and enhance the cyber readiness of government and private sector entities, thereby strengthening Saudi Arabia’s overall cybersecurity posture.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Academy’s training programs are comprehensive in scope, covering a wide array of cybersecurity disciplines and tailored to meet the needs of various national segments and sectors. As a national hub for developing and qualifying local talent, the Academy plays a critical role in narrowing the gap between supply and demand for skilled professionals in the cybersecurity field.
Its offerings include specialized courses, cyber exercises, and sector-specific training programs that align with the needs of vital national se
ctors. These programs target employees of government agencies and private entities, as well as recent graduates of Saudi universities and colleges specializing in cybersecurity and related fields.
