Monsha’at Completes Strategic Visit to Lisbon During Web Summit 2025

Lisbon: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, known as Monsha’at, concluded its visit program to Lisbon today. This visit was conducted alongside its participation in the globally recognized Web Summit 2025. Over the course of five days, Saudi entrepreneurs from promising companies engaged in field tours, workshops, and specialized sessions aimed at international expansion.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Monsha’at’s initiative was designed to bolster the capabilities of Saudi startups, facilitating their global reach by unlocking new investment opportunities and establishing connections with international investors. The program featured visits to Portugal’s innovation ecosystem, including prominent technology companies, business accelerators, and specialized universities. Participants engaged in meetings with entrepreneurs, investors, and international experts, benefiting from sessions that covered legal, financial, and developmental aspects critical to growth strategies, investment rounds, and managing high-growth products.

The concluding day of the visit highlighted several key activities, including a stop at BHOUT, a company at the intersection of fitness and gaming technologies. Participants also attended a legal session by Cuatrecasas focusing on funding rounds and exit strategies, and a workshop dedicated to product development, customer experience, and product team management.

This initiative is part of Monsha’at’s ongoing mission to empower Saudi entrepreneurs, enhance the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, and foster international cooperation. These efforts are aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to transform the economy and bolster the Kingdom’s presence in the global digital landscape.
