Moderate to Heavy Rain Expected in Various Regions of Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast moderate to heavy rain, leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Light to moderate rain is also expected in parts of Riyadh, Eastern, and Najran regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly in the southern part at speeds of 15-50 km/h. Waves may range from one meter to two and a half meters; the sea will be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15-35 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea will be relatively calm.
