San jose: The Ministry of Culture has concluded its participation in Feria Hecho Aqu, held from December 5 to 7 at the Old Customs Building in San Jose, Costa Rica. The participation showcases the Kingdom’s craftsmanship, creativity, and culture while facilitating cross-cultural exchange.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi pavilion featured a dedicated area celebrating the Kingdom’s designation of 2025 as the Year of the Handicrafts, where local artisans demonstrated traditional handicrafts such as bisht making (traditional men’s cloak) and pottery. The pavilion also included live demonstrations of Arabic calligraphy, along with presentations on Saudi Arabia’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites and intangible cultural heritage.
This marks the ministry’s first international participation at Feria Hecho Aqu, reinforcing its commitment to cultural collaboration, global engagement, and dialogue.
