Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Stresses Collective Action on Climate Security at Munich Conference

Munich: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir participated in a dialogue session on nature and security, held in cooperation between the World Bank and the World Economic Forum, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Jubeir highlighted the Kingdom’s significant efforts and initiatives to address environmental challenges, including combating land degradation and mitigating the effects of climate change. He emphasized the Kingdom’s comprehensive approach, which encompasses local, regional, and international initiatives.

He also stressed the importance of accelerating collective action to address these global and interconnected challenges, which, he said, have profound impacts on all aspects of life, including global security and stability.
