Minister of Islamic Affairs receives head of Pakistani Islamic Scholars Group

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Works on Hajj, Umrah and Visit, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, received today at the Ministry’s headquarters in Mina, the head of the Islamic Scholars Group in the Republic of Pakistan, Sheikh Fadhl Al-Rahman.

The Minister stressed that the ministry is working in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership to provide the best services for pilgrims so that they can perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.

He praised the depth and strength of the historical and distinguished relations between the Kingdom and sisterly Pakistan, which stem from the ties of Islamic fraternity, stressing the ministry's keenness to strengthen and develop cooperation with all Islamic societies in Pakistan to spread the approach of moderation, confront extremism and hatred and spread tolerance.

For his part, the Head of the Islamic Scholars Group in the Republic of Pakistan expressed his thanks and praise to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince for their efforts in caring for the affairs of Hajj and pilgrims and providing all support and assistance for them.
