Hail: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held discussions with leading local and international food companies to explore opportunities to enhance cooperation in the potato sector, evaluating efforts to develop it, and identifying ways to advance the industry. The discussions took place on the sidelines of the Potato Conference, held at Al-Maghwa Park in Hail Region under the theme “The Future of the Potato Sector: From Agriculture to Industry.”
According to Saudi Press Agency, present at the meeting were Deputy Minister for Industry Affairs Eng. Khalil bin Salamah and National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) Chief Executive Eng. Saleh Al-Solami. Key participants included the PepsiCo executive vice president, the Lamb Weston chief executive, Al-Munajem Group chief executive, the Americana Agricultural Growth and Industry Company regional director of supply chain, the Al-Dayfe Group chairman, and the Lehaa Group chairman.
