Riyadh: Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel honored the winners of the seventh annual Ada’a Health Award at a ceremony in Riyadh this evening attended by health sector leaders, partners, and specialists. In his opening speech, AlJalajel highlighted that the Ada’a Health initiative is a leading health transformation program that evaluates 2,700 healthcare facilities while also providing over 70,000 analytical results covering clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient safety.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister noted that healthcare providers have set a record, performing over 11,300 surgeries weekly, a dramatic increase from the 2,000 weekly surgeries in the initiative’s first edition, reflecting greater operational efficiency, effective clinical planning, and reduced waiting lists. The ceremony also featured the announcement of winners in six specialized tracks aimed at enhancing the quality of care, strengthening prevention, and improving the health experience for individuals and the community.
