Riyadh: The Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Trkiye, Qatar, and Egypt have released a joint statement expressing support for President Donald J. Trump’s efforts to bring an end to the war in Gaza. They conveyed their confidence in Trump’s ability to navigate a path to peace and emphasized the importance of partnering with the United States to secure regional peace.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministers welcomed President Trump’s proposal to end the conflict, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinians, and advance comprehensive peace. They also noted Trump’s announcement against the annexation of the West Bank. The ministers expressed readiness to engage constructively with the United States and involved parties to finalize and implement the agreement, ensuring peace and stability for the region’s people.
The ministers reaffirmed their joint commitment to collaborate with the United States to achieve a comprehensive deal. This includes ensuring unrestricted humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza, preventing Palestinian displacement, releasing hostages, establishing a security mechanism for all parties, securing full Israeli withdrawal, rebuilding Gaza, and creating a path for a just peace based on a two-state solution. They emphasized the integration of Gaza with the West Bank into a Palestinian state according to international law as crucial for regional stability and security.
