MCIT Launches Second Edition of Corporate Innovation Program in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh:The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), through its Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), has launched the second edition of the Corporate Innovation Program in partnership with Plug and Play. This initiative aims to empower leaders of Saudi companies to adopt open innovation methodologies and develop collaboration and investment models with startups, thereby expanding their businesses and enhancing competitiveness in the digital economy.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program focuses on building corporate capabilities to embed innovation as a structured organizational practice. Participants will be equipped with practical tools and frameworks to explore technologies and ideas both within and outside their organizations. This will enable them to transform these ideas into technology-driven solutions and ventures, unlocking new growth opportunities and strengthening collaboration between companies and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The program will include in-person executive workshops in Riyadh from November 23 to 25, 2026. These workshops will combine specialized knowledge with practical application, covering topics such as innovation as a strategic corporate priority, corporate venture capital models, and startup solutions adoption through customer relationships and strategic partnerships. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises and examine international case studies to help define their organizations' innovation strategies, select models aligned with their objectives, and identify priority collaboration opportunities.

The initiative is expected to enhance the ability of Saudi companies to adopt emerging technologies and develop new technology-driven businesses. It also aims to expand startups' access to partnerships and markets, thereby supporting the growth of the technology innovation ecosystem and contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
