MCC Concludes Cardiac Emergency Symposium During Hajj Season

Madinah: Madinah Cardiac Center (MCC) has concluded its Cardiac Emergency Symposium for the 1447 AH Hajj season, with the participation of leading consultants and specialists in emergency medicine, cardiology, and critical care.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Madinah Health Cluster stated that the symposium aimed to strengthen the preparedness of healthcare professionals in managing cardiac emergencies during the Hajj season.

The event witnessed broad participation from physicians and healthcare practitioners across multiple specialties and focused on the latest evidence-based medical practices for managing cardiac conditions among pilgrims.

The symposium featured several specialized scientific sessions addressing cardiac risk assessment for pilgrims, enhancing care for heart failure patients, and strategies for managing heart attacks.

It also included presentations on field experiences in handling critical cases within emergency departments and the activation of cardiac catheterization laboratories during peak periods.
