The Governor of Maysan, Ali Dawai Lazim, announced the entry of more than 105,000 visitors from Al-Sheeb border crossing in the governorate, heading to the holy Karbala.

After a tour of the crossing, the governor said: "Al-Sheeb border crossing witnessed the entry of 105,925 visitors of various nationalities, since the date of August 1 until today."

He indicated: "The security, service and health plans are going smoothly and as planned, and the Committee for Supporting Religious Rituals and Husseini Processions in the Governorate Office has been instructed, in coordination with service departments, to continue efforts, raise the level of service provision, and meet all the necessary needs for visitors and Husseini processions until the end of Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)./ End
