Szeged: The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has launched two overseas practical training camps for the national biology and chemistry teams in Szeged and Budapest, Hungary. These camps are a significant component of the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program, designed to prepare students for the 2026 International Biology Olympiad and International Chemistry Olympiad.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the camps, running from June 21 to July 3, 2026, will see the participation of 19 students selected to represent Saudi Arabia. This includes 10 students in the biology camp taking place in Szeged and nine students in the chemistry camp situated in Budapest.
Each camp provides 80 hours of hands-on training, organized through 10 sessions. The training focuses on laboratory techniques, scientific experimentation, and data analysis, adhering to international olympiad standards. These sessions aim to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge necessary for competing at an international level.
