Jeddah: King Abdulaziz University has launched the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program 2025, one of the Kingdom’s national initiatives dedicated to nurturing and developing giftedness and creativity. The program is organized in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba).
According to Saudi Press Agency, this year, 521 gifted male and female students from various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are participating in the program, including 192 male students and 329 female students. They are united by their desire to explore new horizons of knowledge and apply their talents in service of the nation.
The program is implemented within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030 and offers advanced, high-quality academic modules across vital fields. For male students, the program includes eight academic tracks in areas such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, architecture, physics, engineering, and anatomy. Female students are enrolled in a broader selection of 14 academic modules, covering future-oriented disciplines such as biotechnology, cybersecurity, data science, cryptography, energy, and physics.
The program is not limited to academic study; it also integrates knowledge with life skills development through specialized training modules on emotional intelligence, values of citizenship, and national identity. In addition, the program features cultural activities and scientific field trips that enrich the educational experience of gifted students.
