Mauritania Condemns Houthi Attacks Targeting Several Cities in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The Islamic Republic of Mauritania condemned the Houthi attacks targeting several cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in injuries to a number of civilians, including women and children.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued yesterday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mauritania affirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for any measures it deems appropriate to protect its territory and citizens and safeguard its security and stability, stressing that any threat to Saudi Arabia's security constitutes a threat to its own security.

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania also condemned attacks targeting commercial vessels and threats to the security and freedom of international navigation in the Red Sea, calling for an immediate cessation of such attacks in a manner that contributes to preserving regional security and stability and supports efforts to establish peace in the brotherly Yemen.
