Riyadh: The Language of Science' festival, organized by the King Salman Science Oasis in partnership with the General Administration of Education in Northern Borders Region, and with the participation of Northern Borders University and several public and private entities, is contributing to the development of students' scientific literacy and strengthening their understanding of mathematics as a universal language for science and modern technology.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival forms part of a national initiative aimed at identifying young talent and developing scientific skills through an interactive learning environment that promotes creative thinking and encourages students to explore the practical applications of mathematics in fields such as engineering, medicine, technology, artificial intelligence, and energy.
The event has attracted wide participation from school students, along with educational leaders, academics, and science enthusiasts. Its program includes interactive presentations, innovative workshops, scientific competitions, and hands-on learning activities that simplify abstract concepts and transform them into practical, real-life learning experiences.
The festival will continue until February 17, as part of a series of initiatives supporting the Kingdom's vision of building a knowledge-based generation capable of competing globally, through integrated efforts between educational and scientific institutions to develop students' future skills.
