Riyadh: Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” has entered into a strategic partnership with Sela, a company active in entertainment, sports, culture, and tourism sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the partnership aims to enhance collaboration with prominent Japanese companies and foster new opportunities for their involvement in Riyadh Season, a major entertainment event in the region.

The initiative seeks to bring leading Japanese companies in entertainment and culture to engage with Saudi and international audiences through unique events and experiences, marking their debut in the Kingdom. Manga Productions will facilitate the entry of these renowned Japanese brands into the Saudi market with creative activities, showcasing the progress of Japanese industries and opening new avenues for collaboration between the two nations.

The collaboration builds on the previous successful partnership between Manga Productions and Sela. Sela showcased its ambitious vision with the unveiling of the giant “Grendizer” statue, which stood 33 meters tall and earned a Guinness World Record during Riyadh Season 2022.

This year, Manga Productions has announced its official sponsorship of Anime Japan 2025, a significant event in the anime and creative industries. The company will participate in both the public days on March 22 and 23, and the business days on March 24 and 25. During the business days, Manga Productions’ booth will serve as a platform to attract investment opportunities from Japanese companies.

Manga Productions continues its efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a key hub for the entertainment industry.
