Madinah: Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed visited the 14th edition of the International Cultural Festival, organized by the Islamic University of Madinah, as part of the festival's ongoing activities. During his tour, he reviewed participating pavilions and the cultural and heritage displays showcasing the diversity of civilizations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Saeed was briefed on the pavilions and accompanying activities that highlight the traditions and customs of the participating countries. He praised the organization and cultural diversity, emphasizing the importance of such events in promoting intercultural communication and fostering the values of coexistence and tolerance among people.

The festival features student participation from more than 90 countries, presenting cultural experiences through their pavilions, in line with the university's mission to build bridges of communication among cultures worldwide.
