Makkah: The Makkah Winter Festival represents an advanced developmental model for leveraging seasonal events to enhance quality of life and activate the urban scene in the Holy Capital through an integrated program combining cultural, entertainment, and social dimensions, while also supporting local economic pathways.

According to Saudi Press Agency, running for four months, from mid-December 2025 to the end of April 2026, the festival reflects a shift toward sustainable events, offering broader social and economic benefits beyond short-term seasons.

The festival features more than 25 diverse events and programs targeting residents, visitors, and Umrah performers, with expected attendance exceeding 800,000 during the festival period, indicating growing demand for high-quality, family- and community-oriented events.

The cultural dimension is central to the festival, with the activation of sites, exhibitions, and knowledge landmarks that highlight Makkah's historical and civilizational depth.
