Makkah: A surgical team at Al Noor Specialist Hospital, part of the Makkah Health Cluster, successfully removed a large tumor from a female Umrah performer’s head. The tumor, measuring over 7 cm in size and weighing over 400 grams, necessitated urgent intervention due to its severity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the 10-hour procedure achieved complete tumor removal, followed by reconstruction of the affected area using a custom-designed, biocompatible 3D-printed titanium frame to restore facial structure and function.

The patient, now in stable condition, has been transferred from intensive care to a regular ward and continues to receive treatment at the hospital.
