Makkah Region Deputy Governor Conducts Detailed Inspection of Pilgrims Facilities

Makkah: Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, conducted an inspection of the Pilgrims Reception and Guidance Center in Al-Nawariyah to review the progress of services provided to pilgrims. The inspection was accompanied by several officials including Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdulfattah Mashat, Mayor of Makkah Musad Aldaood, and other government and security sector representatives.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the inspection, Prince Saud evaluated the operational workflow in the center's pre-readiness room. The room is tasked with confirming pilgrims' accommodations, monitoring statistics of arriving buses, and overseeing the bus tracking system to ensure the smooth movement and quick completion of procedures.

The deputy governor also visited the Grand Mosque to assess the readiness of the Mataf project and the operational systems in place for the 1447 AH Hajj season. This visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and improve the experience of pilgrims. Prince Saud, accompanied by officials, received briefings on operational and service plans, crowd management mechanisms, service enhancements, and facility preparations aimed at ensuring smooth movement and comfort for pilgrims.

Furthermore, Prince Saud inspected the Third Saudi Expansion works and reviewed the phased handover operations managed by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.
