Makkah:The Holy Makkah Municipality has released preventive guidelines to enhance safety during rainfall by promoting safe practices and mitigating potential risks. These guidelines have been made available across the municipality's digital platforms.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality advises citizens and residents to stay informed about weather conditions and adhere strictly to instructions from relevant authorities. It emphasizes cautious driving, recommending reduced speed and avoiding flood channels, valleys, and areas prone to water accumulation.
The guidelines warn against attempting to cross flowing water and advise against staying in low-lying areas during and after rainfall. The public is also encouraged to report any rainwater accumulation or other concerns regarding city services.
