Makkah Education Department Initiates 500 Volunteer Roles to Aid Pilgrims

Makkah: The Education Department in Makkah Region announced the launch of volunteer opportunities at the Haramain High-Speed Railway station as part of efforts to promote volunteer work and serve pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative targets male and female secondary school students to support organizational and field operations inside the Haramain High-Speed Railway station. The aim is to strengthen values of social responsibility and volunteerism among participants while aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to increase volunteer participation.

Volunteer opportunities are diverse, including roles such as assisting in organizing pilgrims' movement upon arrival at the station, welcoming pilgrims and offering appreciation gifts, and providing guidance, awareness, and support for operational procedures within the station.

More than 500 volunteer opportunities have been made available across various field, organizational, and guidance tracks, contributing to support services provided to pilgrims during Hajj.
