Makkah Deputy Governor Inaugurates Hajj 1447 AH Planning Meeting

Makkah: Under the patronage of Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Makkah Region Governor, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz inaugurated today a discussion panel for the Hajj 1447 AH planning meeting.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting was organized by the Principality of Makkah Region in cooperation with the Hajj Projects Management Office of the Pilgrim Experience Program, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives. It was attended by a number of senior officials from the agencies responsible for serving pilgrims.

In his address, Prince Saud bin Mishaal emphasized the directives of the Saudi leadership, which consistently stress the importance of providing the best services to pilgrims and enabling them to perform their rituals in security and tranquility. He highlighted the responsibility of serving the pilgrims, urging all to consolidate previous successes, plan ahead, and work continuously for a successful Hajj.

The panel included representatives from over 40 government, security, and service agencies involved in the Hajj season. Participants reviewed action plans for the 1447 AH season, maintaining the Kingdom’s approach of beginning preparations immediately after the conclusion of the previous season.

Discussions focused on lessons from the 1446 AH Hajj, developing initiatives to meet leadership aspirations, and enhancing integration among entities. The meeting also addressed the use of modern technology to support service quality, anticipate challenges, and ensure the smooth flow of pilgrims in the holy sites.
