Makkah: The Makkah Chamber of Commerce organized a workshop yesterday titled 'Raising Awareness and Enhancing Compliance with Regulatory Provisions During Hajj Season 1447 AH,' in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development branch in Makkah Region. The workshop is part of integrated efforts to improve service quality and strengthen adherence to regulations governing work during the Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop aimed to raise awareness among private sector establishments and Hajj and Umrah service providers of key provisions of the temporary work visa regulations, review required compliance standards, and highlight major violations and ways to avoid them, contributing to higher compliance levels and a well-regulated, safe working environment during the season.
These efforts reflect the commitment of relevant authorities to developing the Hajj and Umrah sector and raising awareness among its workforce, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that support pilgrims' comfort and safety, in line with the Kingdom's leading role in serving the two holy mosques and their visitors.
