Riyadh: The Northern Borders Region branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has completed comprehensive preparations to receive the holy month of Ramadan for 1447 AH, under an integrated plan aimed at preparing mosques and enhancing dawah and service programs during the month.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the branch stated that readiness efforts covered 825 mosques across the region, including 157 grand mosques and 668 mosques, achieving 100% staffing coverage with qualified personnel. The preparations also included carrying out 800 maintenance works and fully addressing emergency malfunctions to ensure mosques are ready to receive worshippers.
The plan further included conducting 12,500 inspection tours of mosques, with the participation of 204 male and female inspectors, to ensure compliance with approved regulations and instructions. In addition, 132 volunteer opportunities were implemented with the participation of 250 male and female volunteers, contributing to raising the level of service readiness at mosques.
