Islamabad: A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck northern Pakistan today.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the quake's epicenter was located at a depth of 159 kilometers in the rugged border region between Tajikistan and China's Xinjiang province, and was felt across Pakistan's capital city of Islamabad, the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and various districts in Punjab.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
