Magnitude 5.5 Earthquake Shakes Northern Pakistan

Islamabad: A 5.5 magnitude earthquake rattled northern Pakistan today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, while the tremor was felt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provinces, initial reports indicate no immediate casualties or damage.

The earthquake’s epicenter was located 60 kilometers northwest of the capital city, Islamabad, at a depth of 12 kilometers.
