Madinah Mayor and Region Development Authority Chief Executive Fahad Albuliheshi participated in the “Smart Life Week” held in Seoul, South Korea, under the theme “Human-Centric Tech, Connect to a Better Life.”

The Seoul Smart Life Week focuses on promoting the vision and values of human-centered smart cities, aiming to enhance sustainability, efficiency, and quality of life in urban environments.

During the Global City Mayors Forum, Albuliheshi delivered a speech highlighting Madinah’s experience in transforming into a smart city centered around human needs, aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, addressing urban challenges, and the early adoption of smart-city indicators through a human-centered smart solutions perspective.

Madinah’s participation in the international event reflects its leadership in transitioning to a smart city that utilizes technology to serve humanity in a comprehensive manner, in addition to developing smart transformation strategies in the urban field and humanization pr
ojects that serve as a distinctive model to be emulated.
