Madinah: The Madinah Region Municipality has completed the rehabilitation and development of Wadi Qanat, a prominent historical landmark known for its significant role in the Prophet’s biography. The project is part of the municipality’s efforts to rehabilitate historic valleys and transform them into tourist and cultural destinations, thereby improving quality of life and enhancing Madinah’s urban landscape.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the development work included constructing wide walkways, creating scenic overlooks, and expanding green spaces along the valley. The initiative aims to preserve the historical significance of Wadi Qanat while making it accessible and enjoyable for visitors. The enhancements are expected to attract tourists and provide residents with a revitalized area for leisure and cultural activities.
