Madinah Hosts 25th Hajj and Umrah Research Forum Exhibition

Madinah: The exhibition accompanying the 25th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research opened yesterday in Madinah, bringing together key players in the sector, including the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the Hajj and Umrah security force, various government and academic agencies, and specialized companies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition serves as a significant showcase for the Kingdom’s efforts to serve Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. Participating entities are highlighting the latest technologies and innovations across critical service areas, such as transportation, catering, crowd management, health, and housing.

Central to the displays are new technical applications and digital services, alongside the use of smart systems and AI. These innovations are designed to fundamentally improve the experience of pilgrims, directly aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The exhibition’s core aim is to facilitate the exchange of scientific expertise, showcase new developments, and support innovation within the Hajj and Umrah sector. By serving as a vital platform for service providers and fostering partnerships between academic and research institutions, the forum supports continuous improvement in services offered to visitors of the two holy mosques throughout the year.
