Madinah Deputy Governor Meets Saudi Red Crescent Officials to Discuss Hajj Preparations

Madinah: Deputy Governor of Madinah Region Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz held a meeting with Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Zahrani, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority's Branch in Madinah Region, along with other branch leaders. The meeting took place at the Deputy Governor's office.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on the review of the authority branch's annual report for 2025 and the operational plan for the upcoming 1447 AH Hajj season. The primary objective of these discussions was to enhance the readiness of emergency services provided to pilgrims and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque, as well as on the roads leading to Madinah.

During the session, the deputy governor was briefed on the key preparations and approved operational plans for the Hajj season. These plans include the reinforcement of emergency teams, the establishment of additional deployment points, and the provision of support for emergency services at high-density locations. The aim is to reduce response times and improve the quality of services offered during this critical period.
