Riyadh: Light to moderate rain fell across Eastern Region on Wednesday evening, covering Dammam and Dhahran, as well as the governorates of Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif and Khobar, along with their affiliated villages and centers. The sky remains overcast, with rain still possible.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the rainfall brought much-needed relief to the region, which has been experiencing dry conditions for several weeks. Residents welcomed the rain, as it provided a respite from the usual warm weather.
Meteorological departments have forecasted continued cloudy conditions and potential for further rain in the coming days. Authorities have advised residents to stay alert to weather updates and exercise caution while traveling, as wet roads may pose hazards.
