Arar: The skies of Arar in the Northern Borders Region witnessed the appearance of the Last Quarter Moon of Shabaan 1447 AH today, emerging half-illuminated in a serene astronomical display and signaling its approach to the conjunction phase and the start of a new lunar cycle.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during this pivotal stage, the moon was visible at 50% illumination. The Last Quarter phase precedes the new crescent and is characterized by the moon rising after midnight and setting before noon, providing an ideal opportunity for astronomical observation.
