Kuwait city: Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Kuwait Dr. Mohammed Al-Wasmi met yesterday in Kuwait with member of the Council of Senior Scholars Sheikh Dr. Sami Al-Suqair. The meeting was held as part of the overseas visit program for members of the Council of Senior Scholars implemented by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, as an extension of its scholarly and outreach programs.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Wasmi welcomed the member of the Council of Senior Scholars, noting that the program aims to strengthen scholarly and outreach efforts through courses and lectures delivered by the council's members, given their positive impact on religious and educational work.

For his part, Sheikh Dr. Al-Suqair commended the Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf for its support of scholarly and outreach programs, and for its efforts to promote religious work and spread Islamic values and principles, moderation, and balance.
