KSrelief’s ‘Masam’ Project Removes 1,765 Mines from Yemeni Lands in One Week

Alula: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Masam Project removed 1,765 mines from Yemeni lands during the last week of February 2026. They included 13 anti-personnel mines, 5 anti-tank mines, 1,745 items of unexploded ordnance, and two explosive devices.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the total number of mines removed in February rose to 8,447, bringing the number cleared since the launch of the Masam Project to 545,952. Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, continues to clear mines in Yemen to enhance civilian safety and support dignified and safe living conditions for Yemenis.
