KSrelief-supported Prosthetics Center in Yemeni Seiyun provides medical services to 318 beneficiaries last September

The Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Seiyun district of Hadhramaut governorate, Yemen, has provided various medical services to 318 Yemeni beneficiaries, who lost limbs, in September 2022 with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

Through the project, 1,631 services were provided, of which 65% were males and 35% were females. The displaced people constituted 19% and while the residents were 81% of the total beneficiaries. Prosthetic limbs were manufactured, installed, and rehabilitated for 34 patients, including the delivery, measurement, and maintenance of prosthetic limbs. The project also provided physical therapy services, which included physical therapy sessions and specialized consultations, benefiting 284 patients.

This comes as an extension of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to raise the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
