KSrelief-Supported Prosthetics Center in Aden Provides Services to 659 Beneficiaries

Aden: The prosthetics and rehabilitation center operation project in Aden Governorate, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), delivered essential medical services to 659 beneficiaries who lost their limbs during April 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the center provided a total of 1,945 services throughout the month. Male beneficiaries constituted 66% of the patients, while females accounted for the remaining 34%. Additionally, 56% of the beneficiaries were displaced persons, with local residents making up 44%. The center's comprehensive services included the manufacturing, fitting, and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, alongside physical therapy and specialized consultations.

This initiative is part of the ongoing humanitarian projects spearheaded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. It aims to boost the capabilities of the health sector and mitigate the challenges faced by the Yemeni people.
