New york city: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) demonstrated its leadership in complex care during a panel discussion co-organized with UNICEF in New York City to mark World Conjoined Twins Day, focusing on evidence-based approaches and innovation for children with complex disabilities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, KSrelief presented the Saudi Conjoined Twins Programme as a global model for multidisciplinary care, which has achieved remarkable success by separating 67 conjoined twins and providing comprehensive care, including psychological, social, and educational support, after assessing 152 cases from 28 countries.

Highlighting its commitment to innovation, the center emphasized its use of cutting-edge technologies, including telemedicine, AI-assisted surgical planning, and the development of a global digital registry for conjoined twins. KSrelief stressed that these initiatives are vital for improving global access to care and advancing research and knowledge sharing in this highly specialized field.
