Amman: The volunteer medical team of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Jordan successfully performed cochlear implant surgeries on 40 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip.
According to Saudi Press Agency, speech rehabilitation services were also provided, along with 16 educational sessions for the families, benefiting 112 individuals. This initiative is part of the Saudi sama’a volunteer program, which focuses on cochlear implantation and hearing rehabilitation for Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip. The program involved the participation of 18 volunteers from various medical specialties.
This effort is part of the humanitarian and relief work provided by the Kingdom, through KSrelief, to support the Palestinian people and alleviate their suffering amid the continuing humanitarian crisis.
