KSrelief Launches Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness in Guinea

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the "Noor Saudi Arabia" volunteer program to combat blindness in Conakry, Republic of Guinea, being held July 15 to 23. The program was launched in the presence of the Saudi ambassador to Guinea, Dr. Fahad Al-Rashidi, with the participation of five volunteers with various medical specialties. Since the beginning of the campaign, KSrelief's volunteer medical team has examined 2,350 cases, distributed 350 eyeglasses, and performed 57 successful cataract surgeries. The program is part of the volunteer projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to support the medical sector in many different countries. Source: Saudi Press Agency
