KSrelief Launches Project to Distribute Food Aid to the Displaced and Needy Families in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa-- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched yesterday a project to distribute 3,600 food baskets to the displaced and the neediest families in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, benefiting 21,600 people.

The inauguration was attended by the representative of the Saudi Embassy to Ethiopia, Muhannad Al-Nofal, KSrelief representative Faisal bin Saad Al-Zamil, and several Ethiopian senior officials.

During the event, quantities of food baskets were distributed to the beneficiaries in the targeted areas of the project, where the beneficiaries thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for the assistance they provided to them.

This humanitarian aid comes to meet the food needs and improve the living conditions of the neediest groups of the displaced and the host community affected by the drought.
