KSrelief Launches Initiative to Aid Yemeni Farmers and Beekeepers

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) announced the signing of a joint project via videoconference aimed at bolstering food security and supporting farmers in Hadhramaut Governorate and Socotra Island, Yemen. The initiative is set to directly assist 990 individuals while indirectly benefiting 7,430 others, focusing on sustainable livelihood development.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz. The project is designed to provide a stable source of income for 990 families by empowering small livestock breeders, beekeepers, and food-processing producers, alongside those involved in fodder cultivation and production. The initiative's core goal is to enhance the food security and living conditions of the beneficiaries. a This project is part of a broader effort by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, executed through KSrelief, to support the most vulnerable in Yemeni society. The initiative seeks to improve economic conditions and elevate the income levels of those in need within the region.
