Socotra: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated the foundation of a Model Farm Project in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate, collaborating with the World Food Programme (WFP).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project encompasses the construction of a protective fence around the farm and a 30-cubic-meter water tank. It also involves the rehabilitation of agricultural land, the installation of a drip irrigation system, and a solar-powered water pumping system. Furthermore, 5.5 acres of farmland will be plowed, bringing benefits to numerous local families.
