KSrelief Facilitates Cancer Treatment for Palestinian Teen in Jordan

Amman: In affirmation of the Kingdom’s leading humanitarian role, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the center has provided medical treatment for 16-year-old Palestinian girl Habiba Yaqoub Ali, who is suffering from lymphocytic leukemia, in Jordan. Due to the specialized nature of her condition, KSrelief coordinated her transfer to the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, where she is currently receiving care under the supervision of a specialized medical team. The center is providing comprehensive medical treatment and support to help her overcome this critical stage and continue her recovery journey.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Habiba Yaqoub Ali expressed her deep gratitude and appreciation to Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for this humanitarian initiative. She noted that the center’s swift intervention represented a lifeline for patients facing extremely difficult health conditions in the Gaza Strip.

KSrelief signed an agreement in July 2024 with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center to provide treatment for cancer patients from the Gaza Strip in Jordan. These initiatives reflect the Kingdom’s sustained commitment to alleviating human suffering and underscore KSrelief’s pivotal role in supporting patients and their families, particularly those affected by severe illnesses in the Gaza Strip.
