KSrelief Distributes 1,400 Food Baskets in Sudan’s River Nile State

Khartoum: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Wednesday distributed 1,400 food baskets to displaced and vulnerable families in Sudan's River Nile State, benefiting 11,700 individuals.

According to Saudi Press Agency, since the onset of the humanitarian crisis, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, has established air and sea bridges to support the Sudanese people. To date, 13 aircraft and 60 ships have delivered aid, including food, shelter, health and environmental assistance, and community support. KSrelief also signed numerous agreements with international humanitarian organizations, bringing the total value of these efforts to over $125.5 million.

The initiative highlights the Kingdom's ongoing commitment, through KSrelief, to alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people during the current humanitarian crisis.
