Damascus: In a continued effort to provide essential support to the Syrian people, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), launched 50 trucks in Damascus on Sunday. This initiative forms part of a humanitarian land bridge, delivering critical supplies to those in need.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the convoy carried an array of essential items, including dialysis machines, medical supplies, food, shelter materials, heavy equipment, debris removal machinery, and ambulances. The total weight of the supplies amounted to 673 tons. This latest dispatch is an extension of the Saudi relief land bridge initiative, which began in 2025, and has already seen the arrival of 800 trucks. Additionally, the Saudi relief air bridge has delivered aid through 18 planes. Together, these efforts have provided 13,561 tons of food, medical, and shelter supplies to Syria.

This initiative is part of broader humanitarian efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, facilitated through KSrelief, to support the Syrian population and help ensure they have access to basic necessities and a chance at a dignified life.
